die grenzlandreiter, they're people at whose place the kettle starts whistling at about one o'clock in the morning after the annoying radio-controlled alarm clock had to beep out the beat (in true cellphone-rings-during-church-service style). When people who almost don't smoke blow smoke into the Surgeon General's face, that's their way of leaving their anarchist mark. And in this way, each of the 13 tracks is furnished with its subject, its justification, its headline. Which came first? The headline or its musical realization? Snippets of sound are cut up, blended, pasted together. Big City Orchestra in small-town Augsburg. And in the end, everything collapses. Just the way we know it from real life.
