Das Resultat dieser fruchtbaren Begegnungen ist "DADA-KRAUT-ELEKTRO-LOW-NOISE-FOLK-ROCK" (so die Künstler) oder schlicht: Pop, wie wir ihn uns wünschen. Homerecording auf hohem technischem Niveau mit geradezu ansteckender Experimentierfreude.
Hinter Bantu Mantra steht übrigens Gerhard Zander, der auf gebrauchtemusik schon mit seinem bereits 1982 aktiven Projekt Lustige Mützen vertreten ist. Zusammen mit Jesus Jackson beweist er auf diesem Album, dass das Potenzial der Pop-Bricolage zwischen allen Trend-Definitionen auch im ersten Jahrtausend nach Pop noch längst nicht erschöpft ist.
